Pokhara -My hometown

This is the place I always miss and I always remember. This is the city where I grew up.Pokhara is the most beautiful city of Nepal. It is 200 km far from the capital city, Kathamandu. Nepal is a mountainous country, but Pokhara has plane land because it is a valley, surrounded by hills and range of mountains, Annapurna range, to north. The main attractions of Pokhara are Fishtail Mountain and Fewa Lake. The mountain is known as fishtail because, as in picture, it peak is naturally shaped like fish’s tail. The Fewa Lake is situated in the centre of the city. Interesting part of the lake is that the image of fishtail mountain can be seen in its water.

I used to go to Fewa Lake for kayaking very often, which is really a great experience. The island in the middle of the lake is like icing on the cake. In the island lies a beautiful temple. I love to go to the island and enjoy the scenery of mountain.

You lived in a beautiful city in a beautiful country. Maybe it's hard for you here (I think is hard for everyone), but at least you have good memories from the past.
