Mount Everest, Crown of The World

Mount Everest is the highest peak of the world located on the border of Nepal and Tibet. It is 8,848 meter (29,029 ft.) high from sea level.In Nepali, Mount Everest is known as Sagarmatha, which means head of the sky (sagar means sky and matha means head).

Many people have set Mt. Everest climbing records in the Gunnies Book of World Record. For example, the first woman climber, the youngest climber, the oldest climber, many-time climber and climbing without artificial oxygen, etc.
