Dates when provinces and territories joined Confederation

On 1867 Ontario, Quebec, Nova Scotia, New Brunswick joined to Create Confederation which was made official by the British North America Act of 1867. As time passed other provinces and territories joined the Confederation as a part of Canada. On 1870 Manitoba, Northwest Territories joined the Confederation, then after a year on 1871 British Columbia joined. On 1873 Prince Edward Island, on 1898 Yukon Territory, on 1905 Alberta, Saskatchewan, on 1949 Newfoundland joined the Confederation. The last territory joined the Confederation is Nunavut which was on 1999.
Now 10 Provinces and 3 Territories constitute Canada.
